Salimba Estate adheres to organic growing practices and fair labor conditions, although without official certification. The estate is also a participant in the Zeri Mushroom Project, which teaches how to grow mushrooms on spent coffee pulp, re-utilizing waste into an environmentally friendly source of side revenue.
